The CW Wants Supernatural and Smallville Back Next Year
Okay, Supernatural fans, one big obstacle is out of the way. At the winter TCAs, network president Dawn Ostroff gave every indication that she wants Supernatural back for a sixth season, says EW.com.
Apparently, the only thing that stands in the way of a sixth season of the underrated program is creator Eric Kripke. His five-season outline will wrap up sometime in May, and there has been a lingering question of whether he'll want to continue the story of the Winchester brothers, who are on track to slay Satan at the conclusion of this season.
"I think he's in that state of mind," Ostroff was quoted as saying, in reference to Kripke coming around to the idea of a sixth season. "I had lunch with Eric the other day and he's really excited about the show right now. I think he feels this season has been really satisfying for him. He's certainly not running out of ideas by any stretch of the imagination."
It's true; Supernatural has been ten kinds of awesome this season, and had been really great for several seasons before that. But should Kripke continue on if it doesn't feel right? It's hard to top a season that is all about stopping the apocalypse and Lucifer, but if anyone can follow such an arc with a season that's equally weighty, it's the Supe writing crew. They're all very aware of the "jumping the shark" phenomenon (they named an episode after it, after all), so it's likely they'd avoid any traps that might lead to a drop in quality.
Smallville is in a similar situation. EW says Ostroff is "very optimistic" about the drama coming back for a tenth season.
"I'm really pleased with the show," she said. "I don't know which way we'll go [with renewal], but if you would've asked me [earlier if the show was ending] I would've said, 'Oh probably.' But I can't say that now." She stressed the point by saying the final episode of this season is looking like a season finale, and not a series finale.
Ponder This: I'm sure the initial fan response will be overwhelmingly in favor of more of both shows. But would anyone out there prefer to see them end (especially Supernatural, because it could go out with the conclusion of a storyline that's really been developing for three seasons now)? I'm a big fan of shows setting end dates (that is, unless Lost blows it), and I think Supernatural is a strong candidate for a pre-defined end. Smallville has clearly gone the other way, lasting longer than most people thought it would, but also performing admirably. What do you think? 1. Gossip girl---- These days i am indulged in this series. It's a fashion show , a celebrities and play boy 's banquet, fancy B@C love …… 2. Lost ---I get lost with this series. I like John, he suffered terrible things and be hurted deeply before he came to the island ,however he is smart and the most supernatural thing happened to him . he is a poor , brilliant man. Kate is pretty girl with ferity character ，freckle! Saywer, a charming guy with a kind heart…… I don't like jack very much , and sometimes i hate Ben , a very brilliant man in the show 3. Hero--- Oh ,our beautiful and lovely cheerleader, Claire, has the most miraculous power. Peter and his brother . B. Lynette, a "productivity" mother, meanwhile a able woman in business especially in marketing. C. Gaby , a fashion and Fascinating lady. She can tell some truth about the fact , i admire her courage . Every time , when she was encountering difficult, she can keep her style ,a really Gaby. D. Susan, i have to accept she is the most adorable women between them , however, on the other hand she always mess up things . A very simple and easy things will become a complex and difficult thing , i cannot bear that so i she lies in the last of my list . 5.Prison Break--- A man's show , i like the the brothers , handsome , strong 6.Grey's Anatomy--- Doctor's life , love ,and all kinds of diseases. Still, there r many other series, share your favorites with me , my friends.

In season 5 what happen to Grey, is she dead?
I just wantched she was remain uncouncious after she was rescured from drowing！ Then all her friends and workmates came to her and felt sorry for her. It's seems that she will die, i am worryed, but idon't believe that !!

'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Private Practice,' 'The Office' and 'Fringe' are among the most DVR-viewed shows on television, according to data released by The Hollywood Reporter.
Based on Nielsen numbers, the report measured how much each show's ratings benefited from DVR viewing up to seven days after initial broadcast.
Running on the ultra-competitive Thursday-night schedule -- where eight of the top-12 most-DVR'd shows air -- 'Grey's' audience tally in the all-important adults 18-49 demo increased by 28 percent, giving the hospital drama an industry-leading 1.4-point ratings boost in that category.

who is the mistress of Alex
Oh, Alex Karev. If your wife wasn’t such a pain in this season, I’d be really angry that you have a one-night stand in the first post-hiatus episode of Grey’s Anatomy, which also happens to be the first part of the show’s crossover with Private Practice. But who does Alex get busy with in the that episode? Beats me. My crystal ball is buried beneath an avalanche of unopened mail. Enter new Ausiello Files contributor/Grey’s addict Sandra Gonzalez, who narrowed down the possible suspects to the following six women. Warning: The odds presented below are non-scientific, so don’t take ‘em to Vegas. Foxwoods maybe, but not Vegas.
Reed (odds: 1-5): It makes sense that Karev would choose to work through his pain with the brash Mercy West-er, who has been undressing Alex with her eyes for weeks. But if Chambers’ claim (that the other woman’s identity will cause our heads to spin) proves true, it won’t be Reed. And if it is, Chambers hasn’t been watching his show very closely this season.
Lexie (odds: 1-2): They had a brief tryst in the past, so it stands to reason that Alex might once again play doctor with ‘lil Grey. And from Lexie’s perspective, what better distraction from all the McDaughter drama than another roll in the hay with a former Calvin Klein model?
Addison (odds: 3-1): It also wouldn’t be the first time Karev visited Le Bed Montgomery, but — as previously reported — Addison will have her hands full helping out Mark. And girlfriend has only so many hands.
Cristina (odds: 9-2): Should Hunt get busy with ex-love Teddy, Cristina might be out for a little revenge of her own. But why would she pick Alex when she’s already got another MD (i.e. Dr. Avery) ready, more than willing, and (we’re just assuming here) extremely able?
Meredith (odds: 7:1): Shonda Rhimes has said that Der-Mer’s upcoming troubles would be work-related, not personal. And we’re going to take her at her word.
Miranda (odds 15-1): Grey’s writers have been anything but subtle about Miranda’s rocky personal life. And Chambers did say the choice would shock people. Well, this would shock me!

do you think of the Chief's affinity for "club soda"
This episode of "Grey's Anatomy" marked the arrival of Teddy Altman (Kim Raver), a face from Owen Hunt's past. She's a cardio surgeon who served alongside Hunt in Iraq after losing her best friend in the World Trade Center on 9/11. I find myself a bit peeved that Hunt implies that the war in Iraq is the direct result of the events of
It's very odd that Hunt kind of ... presented Altman as some kind of offering for Cristina. Altman is a drop-dead gorgeous, tall blond from Hunt's past. Somehow I don't think this is the early Christmas gift that Cristina had been hoping for.
Cristina is painfully transparent, checking Altman's references like she's giving a job interview. When she vocally doubts Altman's proficiency -- even going so far as to tattle to the Chief -- I rolled my eyes. At least Bailey did her Bailey thing and more or less told Cristina to sit down and shut up.
As for Altman... I don't care how long she's been in the desert. Enjoying the rain is fine. Standing in the rain is fine. But Desert Storm Barbie was two seconds away from bursting into song when it rained. In Seattle.
I liked the way Altman had confidence in Cristina during the surgery, handing her the reins and, even after Cristina makes a mistake, demanding that Cristina fix it herself. She doesn't even know Cristina, but she puts more faith in her than Hunt and Callie did last week.
In addition to the arrival of a new face, we also saw the return of an old favorite. Katherine Heigl's Izzie Stevens came back to Seattle Grace. Within the first minute, Meredith Grey (also back to rounds after the end of Ellen Pompeo's maternity leave) did what I wish I could've done: she gave Izzie a couple of firm punches. It's frustrating to me that Izzie is looking to place blame on everyone but herself for her firing.
Alex's face when he saw Izzie broke my heart. The guy stood by her through cancer. He stuck by her while she was having hallucination sex with her dead fiance! I don't care if he did get her fired, which, for the record, she did all by herself. But even if he had, she'd still owe him more than a break-up note in his locker. He's her husband, not her 8th-grade boyfriend. It's absolutely pathetic that Meredith has to fill him in not only on Izzie's whereabouts, but also on the fact that she has been keeping up with her cancer treatments.
The teacher Izzie brought back with her is a very interesting case. He's her 10-grade biology teacher, with a "Memento"-style short-term memory issue, similar to what Izzie experienced after her brain surgery in last spring's season finale. He also believes that Izzie is still a pregnant 15-year-old, which leaves room for him to drop loaded comments such as: "She's gonna be a doctor someday ... if she doesn't get too distracted." Truer words!
Izzie insists on extensive tests. When they finally figure out what's wrong, however, her teacher can't afford the $10,000 surgery. I really felt for Izzie when she had to remind Dr. Webber of the $8 million she donated to the hospital. While she may not deserve her job back quite yet, she was a part of the Seattle Grace family, and she deserves more consideration than the Chief is giving her.
Speaking of the Chief... Wow. In the final moments of the episode, it's heavily implied that the Chief's exhaustion and frustration with the merger may have led to a drinking problem as he asks Joe for another "club soda" and Joe takes his keys before pouring him a straight vodka.
It makes me question the Chief's previous actions. He's been so distracted that his wife, Adele (Loretta Devine), one of my very favorite recurring characters, bursts into the hospital and accuses Bailey of having an affair with him. She's got every right to suspect the Chief of infidelity based on his previous actions, but Bailey is understandably horrified.
Later, Bailey discovers that the Chief made a very serious mistake in a general surgery when he accidentally clipped a patient's common bile duct. Bailey protects the Chief from the scrutiny of the rest of the staff. Is it possible that she has a bit of a thing for him? I have to say, he'd be quite a downgrade after her kiss with Sam on "Private Practice" a few episodes back.
Before I finish, I have to say that I'm really enjoying the Mer/Der happiness while it lasts. Their "five almost-perfect seconds" were a nice reprieve from the usual dramarama.
